Action memorandum for the Assistant Administrator for Africa [: regional activities technical support (Howard University conference)]

Grant is provided under the Program Development and Support Project (6980135) to Howard University to organize and conduct, in coordination with the African American Scholars Council, a conference focusing on two topics of particular interest to the Africa Bureau: (1) paramedical training as a means to extend service delivery in Africa (as well as the Caribbean and United States); and (2) the role of local universities in providing assistance to ministries of health in the field of health personnel training.
