Grant is provided under the HIV/AIDS Prevention in Africa Project to Johns Hopkins University (JHU) to provide technical support to PVOs and NGOs that receive grants under the project for HIV/AIDS prevention activities.

Abstract
JHU support will strengthen the PVOs/NGOs" capacity to develop and implement appropriate community-based HIV/AIDS prevention strategies and programs, and to incorporate such programs into their existing health or development activities. It is expected that TA will be provided in such areas as baseline studies, technical aspects of intervention strategies, and monitoring and evaluation.
