Abstract
The Fundacion will develop a training and follow-up program for 40 traditional midwives in the rural area of Ayo-Ayo,d rerain 40 traditional midwives in District 7 of La Paz, and retrain 50 traditional midwives in the rural areas of Palos Blancos and Copacabana. The Fundacion will also develop a profile of traditional obstetric practices in marginal peri-urban areas and in the rural area of Ayo-Ayo and the altiplano.
