AID grant no. 517-0000-G-00-1237-00 to the Centro de Orientacion Economica to produce three video films promoting democratic initiatives in the Dominican Republic

The films will focus on the following topics: (1) the separation of powers of the U.S. executive, legislative, and judicial branches and how each operates; (2) the U.S. legislative process; and (3) President Bush"s "Initiative for the Americas." When completed, the films will be shown on the weekly program "Orientacion Economica," and, in cassette form, to other groups, such as business associations, students, labor unions, etc.
