1985

Abstract
AGES will recruit and train teams of peer counselor trainer/supervisors in each department capital. Each of these teams will in turn select, train, and supervise up to 90 peer counselors. By the end of the 5-year grant period, some 200,000 young adults will be receiving family life education and FP orientation from these counselors. Strong attention will be given to making the departmental programs financially self-sufficient, and AGES supervision will be phased out gradually. AGES will also continue to operate its Guatemala City program.
