Abstract
and international publishers, booksellers, and educational institutions for donation to Zimbabwe. These books and learning/training materials will support programs in primary, secondary, tertiary, technical, vocational, and professional education. Zimbabwean schools, training programs, etc., will make their needs for educational materials known to the appropriate ministries (e.g., Education, Labor). The ministries will pass the requests on to BBF who will solicit donation of the books. It is estimated that over the life the grant, Zimbabwe will receive 2.2 million books and learning materials, with an estimated value of $22 million. The grant will fund administrative, communication, and solicitation costs as well as packing and shipping. Rotary Clubs in Zimbabwe will assist with local shipping and handling.
