Grant is provided to the Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union (ACTWUSA) Employment Trust to help the Zenzeleni Clothing (PTY) Cooperative initiate clothing production in South Africa.

Abstract
Funds will be used to cover the cooperative"s equipment lease payments for one year. PTY is a start-up effort which would establish a significant black entry into the textile industry and serve as a potential model for other cooperative enterprise efforts.
