AID grant no. 698-0407.08 to Rural Industries Promotions (Botswana) to promote a lower cost sorghum milling process in Botswana

RIIC will expand its workshop so that it can construct five sorghum milling dehullers, install the dehullers in five mills (in Serow, Mahalapye, Mochudi, Molepolole, and Gabane), train mill owners and operators, and evaluate the effects of the mills on local communities (in re acceptability of the sorghum flour, numbers using the mill, labor saved, effect on agricultural production), and modify the mills as indicated.
