AID grant no. AID/PHA/G-1085 to Technoserve, Inc. to enable it to expand its capabilities in the areas of management, staffing, training, program and project analysis and evaluation, and new program initiatives thereby increasing its effectiveness in aiding developing countries to develop self-help enterprise and local self-reliance

to enhance its capabilities to undertake programs to help poor people in developing countries in the areas of self-help enterprise and local self-reliance. The grant will mainly finance the recruitment and/or training of administrative staff and development specialists at Technoserve"s central office in the United States, as well as at new regional and country offices which it plans to open in Latin America, West Africa, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Ghana or Kenya, and Togo/Dahomey.
