Abstract
NRECA will employ a program planning specialist to work in the field, assisting in development planning and developing training programs for NRECA field staff. NRECA will also hire two management specialists, whose main duties will be to assist electric cooperatives in evaluating their management, operations, maintenance, and member education programs; to assist host country agencies in program planning; and to report to NRECA on the impacts of rural electrification on production and employment. They will work in countries that have no on-site specialist, but have at least one rural electric system, including Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, India, Peru, Vietnam, and, in the future, Nicaragua.
