Grant is provided under the Agricultural Program Development and Support Project to the Genetic Resources Conservation Program of the University of California-Davis to conduct a 5-week International Summer Institute in Genetic Resources Conservation of Animals and Plants in July/August 1992.

Abstract
The Institute will consist of two concurrent courses, one on animal genetic resources conservation and one on plant genetic resources conservation, for an audience of graduate students, genebank managers, collection curators, and other professionals in biological conservation from the developed and developing worlds. Thirty students are expected for the plant course and 60 for the animal course.
