AID grant to CARE for the northern zone consolidation project (NZCP)

Grant is provided to CARE to further the crop diversification component of the Northern Zones Consolidation project (5150235) in Costa Rica by providing plant material for three crops: palm (5.5 million plants), black pepper (90,000 plants), and passion fruit (35,000 plants).

Abstract

CARE will contract with nurseries for the production of the plant materials, which will be offered to farmers at a price no greater than the average costs to CARE, plus 10% per plant.
