Abstract
(HKI) to provide educational and vocational services especially for blind children and young adults in Thailand. HKI will undertake a 2-year operational design project to: strengthen the institutional capacity of the Foundation for the Blind in Thailand (a local PVO) and the Division of Special Education, Ministry of Education; strengthen and expand educational and vocational services through more cost-effective program models and approaches; expand employment opportunities for blind persons through the development of small-scale enterprise and income-generating opportunities as integral aspects of the rehabilitation process.
