Abstract

Grant is provided, under the Bureau for Private Enterprise"s Program Development and Support Project, to the Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) in India for a program to improve the effectiveness, financial viability, and market-orientation of the Indian housing finance system by: (1) training HDFC staff both in-house and overseas; and (2) studying aspects of the housing finance systems in India and abroad.
