The eighth in a series, the bibliography cites 196 studies, most of which were conducted during the past 5 years. While emphasis is on research done in developing countries, a number of studies on developed countries and of general methodological or theoretical interest are included. Studies are classified as either agricultural credit or rural savings studies and arranged in alphabetical order by author name. An author and organization index and a geographic index are appended.
