Abstract
The contract's primary objective is to provide a surge capacity workforce to support program design, implementation, oversight, monitoring, and evaluation. During the first quarter of 2017, Dexis onboarded a Special Assistant to the Acting Assistant Administrator and began recruiting for the position of Administrative Assistant. A Strategic Communications Writer/Editor came to Washington, DC in August for their quarterly TDY to provide in-person support to the Bureau. The contract received a modification to add incremental funding in the amount of $822,766.52. In the second quarter of 2017, Dexis onboarded a Program Technical Specialist and a Program Operations Analyst, and promoted a Special Assistant to a Program Technical Specialist. The contract received two modifications to add incremental funding, modify labor rates, and change the Key Personnel Contract Manager. A Program Technical Specialist traveled to Cambodia and Burma to provide legislative technical assistance, support, and training. During the third quarter of 2017, Dexis onboarded a Democracy and Governance "Surge" Program Technical Specialist and a Program Operations Analyst. A Program Technical Specialist received a "spot bonus" for their support in preparing for the USAID Administrator's visit to India. The contract received a modification to temporarily replace the Contract Manager on maternity leave and the Recruiter. In the fourth quarter of 2017, Dexis onboarded an Administrative Assistant in the Front Office and promoted them to a Program Operations Analyst. A Senior Program Analyst resigned, and Dexis began recruiting to find a replacement.
