Abstract
This area is situated between Wazir Akbar Khan Mina, where many embassies and international offices are located, and the Airport Road, the city's most important avenue. Despite being an unplanned area, a plot of land has been allocated for a park construction project. The project's objective is to provide a clean environment and a safe place for citizens to entertain, addressing one of the biggest needs of the community. The implementation of this park project will enable the Kabul Municipality to achieve its objective of offering citizens with such facilities. The project aims to create a space where citizens can relax and engage in recreational activities. The current condition of the project site is that a free land is available for park construction, but the infrastructure has not been started. The project budget is estimated to be funded over a five-year period, with the total project cost to be determined. The phasing of the project indicates that Phase 1 will be completed in 1390, and Phase 2 and Phase 3 will be completed in 1391. Parks are considered essential facilities that contribute to a safe and clean environment, providing citizens with a safe place for entertainment. However, the land mafia in Kabul city poses a significant threat to the construction of parks, as they seek to misuse unused land for commercial and residential purposes. The Kabul Municipality considers this issue a top priority and welcomes interested parties and donors to participate in the project to ensure that the land is used for park construction. The project is being implemented by the Kabul Municipality and CARE International, with the first phase expected to be completed in 1390. The project's implementation will have a positive impact on the community, providing a safe and clean space for citizens to enjoy.
