Abstract
The project is implemented by Advanced Engineering Associates International, Inc. under USAID Contract No. EPP-I-00-03-00004-00, Task Order 5. The project's primary objective is to enhance the regulatory framework and energy infrastructure in BiH, with a focus on cross-border transmission capacity. To achieve this goal, the project requires companies to accept the provisions outlined in the Rulebook on allocation of the rights to use cross-border transmission capacity. This document serves as a statement of acceptance, where companies declare their intention to participate in auctions for the allocation of cross-border capacity at BiH interconnections with neighboring countries. Companies must meet the requirements for participation as prescribed in the Rulebook, which includes understanding and accepting the provisions of the document. The Rulebook outlines the terms and conditions for participating in the auctions, including the possibility of withdrawing participation in case of non-compliance with the provisions or other regulations. Companies are also obligated to notify the ISO BiH in case of any changes to their status. The document requires a signature from the legal representative of the user, indicating their acceptance of the provisions and commitment to abide by the rules. The REAP project is sponsored by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), with the contents of this publication being the sole responsibility of the author. The views expressed in this document do not necessarily reflect the views of USAID or the United States Government. The project's focus on improving the energy sector in BiH is critical to enhancing the country's economic development and energy security. The implementation of the REAP project is a significant step towards improving the regulatory framework and energy infrastructure in BiH. By enhancing cross-border transmission capacity, the project aims to increase energy efficiency, reduce energy losses, and promote economic growth. The project's success will depend on the effective implementation of the Rulebook and the commitment of companies to abide by its provisions.
