The Climate Change Resilient Development (CCRD) task order, led by International Resources Group (IRG), is a quarterly implementation report covering the period of April 2012 to June 2012.

Abstract
The report is prepared for review by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) under the Integrated Water and Coastal Resources Management Indefinite Quantities Contract (Water II IQC). Project management and implementation activities undertaken and/or completed during the reporting period are summarized in the report. The CCRD quarterly financial report and quarterly Performance Management Plan (PMP) report are provided as Annexes. The remaining sections are divided into four sections: 1) Project Management; 2) Objective 1 activities; 3) Objective 2 activities; and 4) Objective 3 activities. Project Management activities include developing the Year Two Work Plan, conducting strategic and implementation planning, and implementing grants under contract program. Task PM-1, Develop Year Two Work Plan, involved revising the work plan to reflect changes in project scope and objectives. Task PM-3, Strategic & Implementation Planning, focused on developing a comprehensive plan for project implementation. Task PM-7, Implement Grants Under Contract Program, involved managing grants awarded to various organizations to support project activities. Objective 1 activities aim to support USAID missions and bureaus in mainstreaming climate change adaptation. Task 1.1.1, Revise Vulnerability and Adaptation Manual, involved revising the manual to reflect best practices in climate change adaptation. Task 1.1.2, Develop Climate Briefs and Annexes, focused on developing briefs and annexes to support climate change adaptation efforts. Task 1.1.3, Develop Lessons Learned on Mainstreaming Climate Adaptation, involved documenting lessons learned from previous projects to inform future climate change adaptation efforts. Objective 2 activities focus on coordinating with other U.S. government agencies to support mainstreaming climate change adaptation. Task 2.1.1, Conduct Adaptation Partnership Workshops, involved conducting workshops to build capacity on climate change adaptation. Task 2.2.1, Facilitate Adaptation Partnership Communities of Practice, focused on facilitating communities of practice to share knowledge and best practices on climate change adaptation. Task 2.2.2, Develop Adaptation Partnership Materials, involved developing materials to support climate change adaptation efforts. Objective 3 activities aim to identify and respond to emerging issues and fill gaps in climate change adaptation. Task 3.1.1, Support Preparation of National Adaptation Plans, involved supporting the preparation of national adaptation plans to address climate change. Task 3.2.2, Develop the High Mountain Glacial Watershed Program's Community of Practice, focused on developing a community of practice to support climate change adaptation efforts in high mountain glacial watersheds. Task 3.2.3, Design and Conduct the Climber-Scientist Competitive Solicitation, involved designing and conducting a competitive solicitation to support climate change adaptation research. The report also includes updates on activities and tasks described in the CCRD Year One Work Plan Revised Draft. The report provides a comprehensive overview of the activities undertaken by the consortium led by IRG during the quarterly reporting period.
