Abstract
The specific objectives are: (1) To determine the level of performance of agricultural extension workers employed under the general extension and rubber divisions in the Midwestern Nigeria Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources; and (2) To identify and discuss factors that explain differences (if any) in the levels of performance of agricultural extension staff working under the two approaches to agricultural organization.
