The project is led by Shanna Tova O'Reilly, Senior Manager of the USAID Catalyst Project, and facilitated by a team of experts from Context Partners, a design and strategy collective with a focus on design thinking, social impact, and community organizing. The project's objective is to help organizations identify and engage with their key stakeholders, including employees, beneficiaries, investors, volunteers, and communities. To achieve this, the project employs a stakeholder identification and mapping process, which involves understanding the roles and aspirations of various groups and their relative importance to the project. The stakeholder identification process begins with a focus on the project's purpose and scope, followed by a list of stakeholders related to the project. The stakeholders are then mapped according to their relative importance to the project, with categories including employees, beneficiaries, investors, volunteers, and communities. This mapping exercise helps organizations to understand the value exchange between stakeholders and the project, including potential conflicts and areas of alignment.
