Abstract
Proj activities also included intermediate management of a low-cost health delivery system in Thailand. Evaluation was conducted by a special team of 3 AID officers and 2 non-AID medical doctors, and included an in-depth review of the contract, PP, contractor reports, interviews and a 2-day site visit. Information dissemination activities are judged well carried-out. State-of-the-art, however, has been a descriptive exercise rather than an analytical tool, and technical assistance was sluggishly utilized. DEIDS (Development and Evaluation of Integrated Delivery Systems) was well managed. Guidelines for evaluation are being developed.
