Disaster recovery project : CARE/AID mid-term evaluation of CARE potable water/irrigation

PES, consisting of a face sheet, covers the period 10/83-1/85 and is based on an attached mid-term evaluation (XD-AAS-580-A). Action decisions are to: (1) use an improved water system design to achieve increased sanitation and expanded water availability; (2) increase community understanding of the relation of potable water to sanitary feces disposal and the need for patio to kitchen sanitation; (3) examine the ability of the Departmental Development Corporations to solve field problems and their compliance with CARE agreements; and (4) expand CARE"s working knowledge of USAID reporting and accounting procedures and regulations.
