Effective donor strategies to support microfinance associations

This technical note provides donor agencies with key information necessary to effectively support microfinance associations (MFAs).1 By explaining the role of MFAs and the value-added services they provide to microfinance institutions (MFIs) and the microfinance industry as a whole, this technical note answers the key questions donor agencies may ask when considering support to MFAs.
