Project to help sustain consumption, production, and investment levels in Egypt by providing a portion of the required foreign exchange.

Abstract

Half of the Commodity Import Program will provide generalized balance of payments support in the form of purchases of intermediate goods and consumables, while the remaining half will provide more directly development-related support in purchases of capital equipment associated with the Government of Egypt investment budget.
