El Salvador elections assistance
Project to provide grants to six organizations -- Freedom House, the Center for Democracy, the Southwest Voter Research Institute, the National Republican Institute for International Affairs (NRIIA), the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI), and the Organization of American States -- to conduct elections assistance activities related to the Salvadoran Assembly and Municipal elections of 10/3/91.

Abstract
All six institutions will establish in-country election-monitoring stations and election observation missions. In addition, the Center for Democracy will establish in-country resource and information center, and the NRIIA and the NDI will undertake a joint effort to help the Foundation for Democratic Development in El Salvador (a multipartisan civic education institute) carry out civic education and voter mobilization activities.
