Factors associated with the use of modern agricultural inputs in eight municipios of the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil, 1970-1972

The farm operators have been classified into three farm size groups (small, medium and large) for the purpose of examination and discussion of the variables. It was hypothesized that differences in source important to various farmers would follow farm size category. This hypothesis was demonstrated to be true. It was also hypothesized that members of the agricultural service agencies in the area would be more perceptive of the needs and conditions of larger farm operators. This was not demonstrated.
