Abstract
The IDMS aims to improve the management of agricultural development in Iraq by integrating various sectors and stakeholders. The initiative focuses on enhancing the productivity and efficiency of agricultural activities, improving market access, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices. The IDMS is based on a comprehensive framework that includes six main components: (1) agricultural development, (2) water resources management, (3) irrigation systems, (4) agricultural extension services, (5) agricultural research and development, and (6) agricultural marketing and trade. The initiative also emphasizes the importance of integrating agricultural development with other sectors, such as water resources management, irrigation systems, and agricultural extension services. The IDMS has identified several key indicators to measure its progress and impact. These indicators include the level of agricultural development, the level of water resources management, the level of irrigation systems, the level of agricultural extension services, the level of agricultural research and development, and the level of agricultural marketing and trade. The initiative also emphasizes the importance of monitoring and evaluating its progress and impact regularly. The IDMS has established a comprehensive framework for agricultural development in Iraq, which includes several key components. These components include the development of agricultural policies and strategies, the establishment of agricultural institutions and organizations, the provision of agricultural extension services, the promotion of agricultural research and development, and the improvement of agricultural marketing and trade. The IDMS has also identified several key challenges and obstacles that need to be addressed in order to achieve its objectives. These challenges include the lack of infrastructure, the lack of resources, the lack of capacity, and the lack of coordination among stakeholders. The initiative has also emphasized the importance of addressing these challenges and obstacles in order to achieve its objectives.
