Food aid and development : a selected bibliography emphasizing forestry projects

The annotations are in three categories: perspectives on food aid; food aid and forestry; and guidelines for increasing the developmental impact of food aid. The first two annotations give overviews of food aid and discuss specifically its pros and cons. Following these are thirteen annotations that focus on the role of food aid in forestry, an inventory of the numbers and types of food-aid assisted forestry projects, and evaluations of such projects. The last nine annotations focus on options and guidelines for increasing the developmental impacts of food aid. (Author abstract)
