Grant by the United States of America to American Bureau for Medical Aid to China, Inc. for the Cheng Hsin Rehabilitation Center

The Center provides corrective surgery, prosthesis, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy for handicapped children, as well as on- the-job training for eniormedical students. The grant will finance: (1) construction of a covered corridor between the new American wing (constructed with previous A.I.D. assistance) and the rest of the facility; (2) equipment and supplies to establish a workshop for preparing and repairing prosthetic devices; and (3) a program of exchange visits with U.S. medical personnel.
