Abstract
The Center provides corrective surgery, prosthesis, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy for handicapped children, as well as on- the-job training for eniormedical students. The grant will finance: (1) construction of a covered corridor between the new American wing (constructed with previous A.I.D. assistance) and the rest of the facility; (2) equipment and supplies to establish a workshop for preparing and repairing prosthetic devices; and (3) a program of exchange visits with U.S. medical personnel.
