Abstract
A total of 250 students will receive scholarships to Panama"s nine agricultural training institutions, known as IPT"s. IPT"s provide high school level training, designed to return students to the farm with new technology and/or to prepare them for either agricultural jobs or future academic training. An expected output of the project is to increase the pool of candidates eligible for U.S. scholarships to be provided by PANAJURU with funding from the Central American Peace Scholarship Program.
