Grant is provided under the Central America Peace Scholarship Program (5970001) to Patronato Nacional de la Juventud Rural Panamena (PANAJURU) to provide scholarships to 100 Panamanian agricultural students and teachers to live and work with farm families in the United States for an 8-month period.

Abstract
Of the 100 recipients, 70 will be outstanding graduates of Panamanian agricultural training institutes and 30 will be faculty members or 4-S Club (Panamanian equivalent of 4-H Club) volunteer leaders. The U.S. National 4-H Council will assist in coordinating the scholarship programs.
