Abstract
The first part of the paper deals broadly with the relation between agricultural production, employment and income distribution. The second part discusses ten specific policy issues within the broader context of technical change in agriculture and employment growth. In each case, the policy recommendations flow from the interrelations discussed in the preceding section and are supported, in addition, by specific empirical data.
