1984

Abstract
The GOJ will allocate program funds (a $50 million loan) to the private sector for the importation of spare parts, capital goods, and industrial and agricultural inputs from the United States; an equivalent amount of local currency will be deposited in a special account and used for purposes agreed upon by the GOJ and A.I.D. The GOJ will covenant to review its foreign trade and exchange regime; study factors influencing investors; and study the feasibility of combining several agencies currently involved in investment, production, and export promotion.
