Abstract
is promoting micro- and small enterprise development. This report assesses the microenterprise programs of two A.I.D.-funded intermediary institutions - the Asociacion Para el Desarrollo de Microempresas (ADEMI) and the Programa de Asistencia a la Pequena Empresa/Fondo para el Desarrollo (PROAPE/FONDESA). Key findings are as follows.
