Abstract
academic degree programs and to make appropiate recommendations to AID, NAFSA, and educational institutions. NAFSA undertook a nation-wide survey of foreign students from developing countries using a written questionnaire which produced nearly 1900 respondents from 102 countries. Recommendations highlight the need for more cross-cultural interaction between foreign and U.S. students and faculty, and include suggestions for improvements in the areas of training design, English language, training support services, and quality of training.
