Abstract
Some 2,384 persons living in the pueblo jovenes of Lima will be trained in carpentry (192), dressmaking (96), knitting (800), and literacy and numeracy (1,296). Economic self-sufficiency will be achieved through marketing of trainees" products (particularly overseas marketing of sweaters). To increase ISEFA"s institutional capacity, the project will also help ISEFA establish a job placement office, train 36 instructors, and revise curricula.
