We have explored the precarious food situation in the developing nations.
Sisler, D. G. · 1970

Abstract
Production of food per person in these poor nations has increased only slightly over the past decade, and the quality of their diet has probably not improved. It is projected that despite the Green Revolution the developing nations will have a considerable gap between domestic production and required consumption in 1980. The grain imports of developing nations will have to double over the next decade if even modest increases in consumption are to be realized.
