Abstract
The report is submitted to Georgette Giles, the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), and is prepared by Dexis Consulting Group under contract number AID-OAA-C-14-00184. The project's main objective is to provide long and short-term policy, program, and administrative support to USAID's Bureau for Policy, Planning and Learning (PPL) to ensure PPL's leadership role in policy, strategic planning, project design, donor engagement, monitoring, evaluation, and learning. The project's scope includes delivering technical assignments, recruiting long-term and short-term staff, and submitting quarterly reports. During the reporting period, the project made significant progress in completing contract deliverables and implementing short-term technical assistance. The project design specialist position was filled on November 16, 2015, and the project manager, Celeste Buccola, was officially confirmed as permanent program manager on April 1, 2015. The administrative assistant, Michael Ferry, resigned on June 7, 2017, and Dexis is currently vetting and interviewing candidates to fill his position. The project's accomplishments include submitting all report deliverables on time and receiving approval from the COR. The January to March quarterly report for Surge was submitted on May 3 and was approved by the COR on May 31, 2017. The project also continued to work with USAID to meet contractual obligations and deliverables as stated in the contract. The project's priorities for the next quarter include submitting a quarterly project status report, submitting a final report, beginning project close-out, hiring additional surge personnel as needed, and continuing regular check-ins with the COR, Georgette Giles.
