Abstract
The key to this approach was the maintenance and strengthening of alliances with current partners, as well as the dissemination of information to new potential partners, both local and international, to become part of an integrated ecosystem that develops and strengthens individual and community resilience. Innovative interventions were implemented through collaboration with USAID, seeking to address the complex challenges facing communities. Glasswing has been able to innovate and experience new approaches, which have not only improved the services provided to project participants but also strengthened the institutional capacity of the organization and created innovative solutions. The after-school program at C.E.B. Manuel Bonilla in El Salvador provided a platform for children to develop new skills and interests. Any, a student who participated in the program, reported that she was motivated to attend school and participate in the Glee Club, where volunteers helped her overcome stage fright and express her emotions through song and dance. Her development in the clubs led to outstanding presentations at public and private events and national singing competitions. The program also focused on developing life skills, with a range of activities and events that promoted fair play, fair play, and provided a space for children to demonstrate their learning, creativity, and dedication. The Soccer Tournament, which involved 980 students from El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala, was a notable event. The First Storytelling Festival in Honduras brought together 160 children who participated in the world of theater and conveyed their passion for stories to the audience. Leadership and Entrepreneurship and Development (L.E.A.D.) Clubs were launched in 11 venues in Guatemala, with the participation of 50 young people from the Youth Development program. Entrepreneurs from the store Charlie held a workshop for young people to strengthen their entrepreneurial skills. The promotion of art was also essential, with 707 children from 28 schools in El Salvador visiting the MARTE Museum to participate in a painting workshop and guided tour. Approximately 86 students from different schools in the regional program were selected to represent the region and participate in the Second Spelling Bee, "Mente Veloz", which took place at the BANPAIS Tower in San Pedro Sula. The event demonstrated the English language proficiency of the participants, with the first three places going to C.E.B. Manuel Serrano, C.E.B. Miguel Paz Barahon, and C.E. Jose Trinidad Cabañas. In Guatemala, 46 students from the Inebemez Institutes, Oscar A. Barahon, and Ineb Tierra Blanca participated in the Leadership Camp, along with 12 volunteer educators. The objective of the camp was to expand the abilities of the students, reinforce their self-esteem, and acquire new problem-solving skills. In El Salvador, the Leadership Rally was held at the Bicentennial Park, with the participation of more than 300 young people from 26 schools. The Youth Forum was held in Guatemala, with the motto "Activate", and 300 young people from community schools and USAID projects participated, fostering an integral and participatory growth. The theme of the forum was civic participation, and the participants contributed to the construction of more inclusive and democratic countries. In Guatemala, 100 young people from the institutes Tierra Blanca, Inebemez, and Oscar A. Barahon participated in the launch of the #UnidosContraLaTrata campaign, as part of the USAID Youth and Gender program, in partnership with the Attorney General's Office. The program also focused on fostering civic participation and leadership, with a range of activities and events that promoted critical thinking on different topics of national and international importance. Erick, a student who participated in the Glee Club, reported that he was able to overcome behavioral problems and improve his academic performance, thanks to the support of the school coordinator, Ricardo, and the volunteers.
