Rapid assessment : early childhood education

The study utilized both primary and secondary data collection to answer questions around the current landscape of nursery services with a focus on children ages three to five and the willingness of stakeholders like the Government of Jordan and the private sector to expand these services. The assessment also looked at the challenges and obstacles that the private sector and CBO-based nurseries face in providing quality services. Recommendations from the assessment include securing additional financial support from donors and other stakeholders, streamlining the licensing and inspection process for nurseries and enhancing monitoring systems.
