Regrant agreement between the General Organization for Industrialization (G.O.F.I.) and El Nasr Steel Pipes and Fittings Company for replacement equipment for the production of longitudinal steel pipes

The subproject will be implemented by El Nasr via a subgrant and subloan of an A.I.D. grant/loan to the Egyptian General Organization for Industrialization. The new mill, which will have a design capacity of 60,000 tons per year, will enable Egypt to produce, for the first time, welded-steel pipe of the quality required for water systems and industrial operations. The new plant will also produce steel sections and profiles of rectangular or square shapes for trusses, transmission towers, handrails, and many other industrial uses.
