FY 1990 cash transfer of $163 million to Egypt for balance of payments support.

Abstract

The funds will be used to: purchase equipment or commodities from the United States; repay U.S. owed or guaranteed debt; and finance other selected activities. An equivalent amount of local currency will be used for development purposes, as agreed to by A.I.D. and the Government of Egypt.
