Abstract
The guide aims to continue the task of strengthening the state of law, democratic institutions, and increasing access to justice in areas of consolidation, particularly for women and disadvantaged groups. The guide is expected to be implemented in the Systems of Quality Management with foundation on the Agreement No. PSAA12-9743 of October 30, 2012 of the Sala Administrativa del Consejo Superior de la Judicatura, which orders to compatibilize it with the policy of equality and non-discrimination with differential and gender focus of the Judicial Branch. The goal is to obtain the ISO 9001 certification as part of the Quality Management System. The guide was developed to promote the equality of opportunities between women and men and non-discrimination by reasons of gender in judicial decisions, in the public service of the administration of justice, and in the internal functioning of the Judicial Branch. It aims to integrate the mission, vision, and institutional objectives as well as the strategic planning processes and annual operational plans with the gender perspective and the principle of Equality and non-discrimination. The certification ISO 9001:2008 is the base of the Quality Management System. It is a standard that specifies the requirements for a quality management system, and it is widely used in various industries. The guide is expected to be implemented in the Systems of Quality Management with foundation on the Agreement No. PSAA12-9743 of October 30, 2012 of the Sala Administrativa del Consejo Superior de la Judicatura. The guide is a tool to help the Judicial Branch to implement the policy of equality and non-discrimination with differential and gender focus. It provides a framework for the development of a quality management system that takes into account the gender perspective and the principle of Equality and non-discrimination. The guide is expected to contribute to the strengthening of the state of law, democratic institutions, and increasing access to justice in areas of consolidation, particularly for women and disadvantaged groups.
