Abstract
CATIE will: (1) conduct a scientific state-of-the-art seminar on cocoa moniliasis for research and development officials in the Western Hemisphere, in part to determine the potential for creating a network of research institutes with cocoa programs; (2) develop materials for, and conduct, a training course on cocoa moniliasis control for extensionists, crop protectionists, and other public sector personnel of countries in the Americas with cocoa programs.
