Seychelles FY 1986 commodity import program

Commodity import program (CIP) to provide balance of payments support to the Government of Seychelles (GOS).

Abstract

Grant funds will be used to finance the importation of medium fuel oil and, in an expansion of previous projects, diesel fuel; both fuels will be used for the generation of electricity. Local currency generations by the project will be used to support the East Coast Port Expansion Project on Mahe, a multi-donor effort to enhance the fishing and trading industries in the Seychelles.
