FOOD AND FERTILIZER TECHNOLOGY CENTER FOR THE ASIAN AND PACIFIC REGION
Soil and water conservation practices with proven effectiveness in Taiwan are detailed in this latest edition of the Soil Conservation Handbook, first published in 1964 and used for the training of soil conservation fieldworkers.
1995

Abstract
The present edition has been greatly expanded and is divided into three volumes: farmland erosion control, engineering works, and vegetative measures. The first volume provides technical criteria to be followed in all soil and water conservation field operations, and describes various erosion control methods and facilities. When erosion control involves engineering works or vegetative measures, the other two volumes of the manual should be consulted. (Author abstract, modified)
