This paper seeks to outline the broad components of implementation mechanisms that will integrate large parts of USAID/Colombia"s approach to alternative development with complementary activities under the Mission"s other assistance objective areas, including governance, attention to groups that have been affected by conflict, and demobilization and reintegration efforts.
