The Council's Full Bench comprises nine elected members who provide a binding and final resolution to the Council when there is an inconsistency in its decisions. Members of the Arbitration Council and staff of the Arbitration Council Foundation have gained knowledge and experience from many overseas trainings, exchange visits, and international conferences. Since its inception in 2003, the Council has a close relationship and cooperation with the Fair Work Commission Australia, National Academy of Arbitrators of Canada and USA, and the American Arbitration Association, USA. Arbitrators have visited various countries for training and exchange, including Australia, the Philippines, and the USA. In 2014, the Minister of Labour led a study trip of the Ministry of Labour and the Arbitration Council to the Fair Work Commission Australia. These international relations and cooperation have contributed to the development of the Arbitration Council's expertise and capacity in resolving labour disputes. The Arbitration Council's role is to provide a fair and impartial resolution to labour disputes, ensuring that both workers and employers have a voice in the process.
