Abstract
The training aimed to build users' knowledge on four systems implemented at PETL: Billing System, Mobile Billing System, ERP System, and Document Management System. The training methodology employed classroom training, providing hands-on, interactive learning with expert instructors, and a training database that simulated the PETL test environment server with the latest releases of the implemented systems. The training environment allowed users to practice with their own data and test real-life cases, enriching their experience and expediting the learning process. The PETL test server was relocated to PETL premises, and access was granted to all users to practice what they had learned anytime from their own PCs. The training curriculum covered various topics, including billing and collection cycles, mobile billing-related processes, procurement forms, inventory management, customers and suppliers management, and document management. The training database was set up to reflect the requirements and business needs of PETL, loaded with all PETL-related master data, including chart of accounts, organizations, banks, customers, and suppliers. The training environment provided a unique opportunity for users to practice with their own data and test real-life cases, which would enrich their experience and expedite the learning process. The training program was attended by various PETL staff members, including the Director of Finance, Procurement Officer, Accounting Manager, IT Manager, Admin Assistant, and Operation Engineer. The training curriculum highlighted the topics covered by the training and learning objectives, including billing and mobile billing systems, ERP system, and document management system. The training program aimed to increase the level of knowledge and skills of PETL staff members on the aforementioned systems and make them more confident in using them. The training program was successful in achieving its objectives, and all participants significantly increased their level of knowledge and skills on the systems. The PETL staff members now possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude to deliver training for any new staff that could join PETL. Experts are ready to provide all the needed support and knowledge transfer for PETL staff to make the best benefit of the implemented systems and applications. The training program was conducted in accordance with the project's major deliverables, and the training methodology employed was effective in building users' knowledge on the implemented systems.
